@Sandton Hotel announces the launch of its exclusive Chef’s Table experience, with Executive Chef Tony Kocke and his team. This experience consists of a three-course menu, ‘Three Dishes, Three Chefs’, made up of a lobster starter, a duo of venison loin and duck breast as the main and an Amarula mousse as dessert, concluding with a traditional Amarula Don Pedro.

The experience takes place in a private dining room, located in the heart of their wine storage area. This space provides a setting for up to eight guests. Each dish is paired with a selection of premium wines from across South Africa.

Currently @Sandton Hotel’s ‘Three Dishes, Three Chefs’ is on offer at R1195 per head for three courses plus wine pairing. Guests can request a menu tailormade to their taste.

The meal begins with a poached West Coast lobster starter, topped with seafood mousse, complemented by drops of sauce Cherone, a micro herb salad, marinated tomatoes, and seared scallops. This dish is paired with Constantia Glen Sauvignon Blanc.

The main course features a duo of venison loin and duck breast, presented on a bed of cherry sauce alongside roasted asparagus, baby carrots, butternut purée, cauliflower snow, and Château potatoes. This dish is accompanied by Paul Cluver Estate Pinot Noir 2021.

The finale is an Amarula Mousse, rested on chocolate soil and adorned with macerated berries, served with an Amarula Cocktail. The conclusion to this culinary experience is a traditional Amarula Don Pedro.
