The Forum Company launches its new accommodation offering

CATERING, EVENTS AND CONFERENCING FIRM, The Forum Company, has launched its new accommodation offering, White Light/The Rooms in Lanseria, near Sandton.

A neglected cottage was the starting point for this ambitious project and the result is a completely restored and reimagined space that reflects the extraordinary natural beauty and light of the Highveld.

There are 12 en-suite rooms; each decorated to reveal a unique personality and to enhance an atmosphere of simplicity and relaxation. The Rooms combine style and design resulting in a perfect balance of place and space, where the emphasis is on comfort.  

Each of the 3 room categories (Signature Suites, Superior Suites and Studio Suites have king-size beds made up with fine, 400 thread-count bed linen; highest quality mattresses and a choice of summer/winter duvets.

Sophisticated en suite bathrooms offer luxury, fluffy white towels and luxury amenities, including tea and coffee stations and complimentary WiFi.

Glynis Hyslop, MD of The Forum Company, says: “Our idea was to create a home-away-from-home, with the focus very much on a perfect night’s sleep, because that is what matters the most – whether you are a bride preparing for your wedding day, a guest enjoying a weekend getaway or a business person overnighting midweek. Sleep and rest are important and quite undervalued in today’s world.”  

White Light /The Rooms has an on-site restaurant – The Kitchen L’antico Giardino –which is open for breakfast and lunch on weekends. Guests also have the option of booking a private chef.
